Welcome, I'm Shan Jensen, my kilims and carpets are art pieces hand-woven by weavers in Central Anatolia, Turkey, in and around the historical city of Konya. Konya is part of one of Turkey's largest and richest rug producing areas. |

| My rug maker and I co-ordinate the process by selecting the colours, dying the wools and working with the women who traditionally do the weaving. The women translate my paintings into carpet form. They weave on simple looms in their homes according to ancient techniques. All works are woven with naturally dyed wool, hardy and long wearing |
| Each design has a limited edition of 40, though each piece is wholly unique. Commissions and orders can be taken to suit size and colour preferences. All works are fine, functional and earthy. They contain soul, they are inviting. |
